About Dr. Paul

Dr. Paul has a BA in Intercultural Studies, a Masters in Clinical Counseling, a PhD in Marriage and Family Counseling, accreditation by the NCCA (National Christian Counselors Association) and the AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), and is Equine Assisted Learning certified.

He and his wife, Velma, live in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. They previously served as missionaries for 27 years in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil and Venezuela, working with the Yanomamö Indians. Paul is an experienced linguist, speaking six languages, and is a trained paramedic. He also has 30 years of experience in teaching, counseling, and coaching both young people and adults.

Paul and Velma love the Lord, and have a passion for helping people lead fulfilling lives that are pleasing to God. They are members of Branson Bible Church in Branson, Missouri, where Paul is the Minister of Music, an Elder, and teaches both Sunday School and a College and Career class.
